Every research method, in one platform.[1]
Stroop is the all-in-one research and testing platform. Run usability tests, prototypes, surveys, tree tests, diaries and IATs in one study, and get results back transcribed, scored and charted, with every finding linked to the session it came from.
30 study-days free. No card.
Usability and prototypes, surveys and IA, diary and ethnography, implicit and behavioural. Every method listed is live, with its scoring published.
Where did people hesitate at payment?
Searched 12 transcripts in Checkout usability round. 31 moments matched
Three places, all on the payment step:
- Seven of the twelve paused at “Save this card for next time”, and most unticked it. Nothing on the page says whether Larkspur or the shop keeps the card.
- Four went back to the basket to find the delivery cost before typing any card details.
- Three lost the Pay button when the keyboard opened for the security code.
A finding nobody can check is an opinion.
Every sentence the assistant writes ends in a bracket: the participant and the second it came from. Press one and the moment plays.
Claims it cannot cite are rejected before you see them. It never overrides a measured result, and you can switch it off per workspace.

Usability, diaries and IATs in one study.
Choose the method by the research question, not by which tools you license. Stack a Figma test, a SUS and an IAT on the same participants, and each one produces the output a specialist tool would.
Your client opens finished work, in your brand.
Findings, clips and reels on a page in your colours, opened from a link. Observers and guests are unlimited and need no account.
Your participants follow a link and start.
Nothing to install and no account, in the browser they already have. Every screen carries your logo and colour, and a pre-flight check catches a blocked microphone before the first task, not halfway through it.
Diaries install from the same link, as an app on the phone's home screen.
Stop stitching five tools into one deck.
| The job | What teams use today | In Stroop |
|---|---|---|
| Moderated interviews | Zoom or Teams, a booking tool, a transcription service | Moderated sessions with a back room for observers, booking and transcripts |
| Prototype and website tests | Maze, Lyssna or UserTesting | Unmoderated tests on Figma files, code builds and websites, recorded and transcribed |
| Tree tests and card sorts | Optimal Workshop | Tree tests, card sorts, first-click and five-second tests, with pietrees and matrices |
| Diary studies | dscout, or a messaging app and a spreadsheet | A diary participants install from a link, with a cited digest of each day |
| IATs and reaction time | Gorilla or Inquisit | IATs, go/no-go and priming, scored with the published algorithm |
| Analysis and the deck | A repository tool, spreadsheets and slides | Cited findings, themes, reels and a share page in your brand |

Questions
Is every method really live, or coming soon?
- Every method on the methods page is live today, each with a dated changelog entry. Two limits, plainly: webcam eye-tracking is a labelled beta, accurate to 2 to 4 degrees, and native app screen recording isn't offered. On phones, participants use their own recorder and upload.
Does the AI make things up?
- Every claim it makes cites the session and second behind it, and output with an uncited claim is rejected before you see it. It never overrides a measured result. You can switch it off per workspace, and we never train on your data.
Do you recruit participants?
- No. You invite your own (your customers, a client's users, a recruiter's list) or use a panel such as Prolific through a link, and pay them directly. There's no per-participant fee. If you need people found for you, UserTesting, Maze and Lyssna run panels.
Do you have SOC 2?
- Not yet, and there's no badge on the page until there is. Data stays in the EU, there's a DPA and a public sub-processor list, and every participant's data can be deleted on request. If procurement needs a SOC 2 report on day one, we're not the right choice yet.
Is Stroop only for agencies?
- No. Research and product teams use the same product at the same price, with a workspace per team or product line instead of per client.
Every finding, traced to the moment it came from.
